National Level PACT-Star Program

Call for PACT-Star Awards 2024 for School Students (Grade 8 to 12)

PACT2030, which stands for Pledge, Act, Change, Transform—2030, is a social enterprise that empowers academic institutions to think beyond their boundaries and care for the world. Institutions have started to commit to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on an ongoing basis, but we know that the power of togetherness is much mightier. As the name suggests, PACT2030 has a long-term vision and is a scalable model on global platforms.

The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is one of the most ambitious and vital global agreements. Educational institutions have a leading role in helping society achieve the Global SDGs through leadership, research, teaching and learning, campus operations, and community service. As living laboratories of transformation and innovation, academic engagement, partnerships, and exemplar models are crucial to empowering the next generations, advancing SDGs' progress, and fostering a resilient and equitable future.

What better way to empower our future than to give power and support to young minds—the future is for them, indeed. So, PACT2030 has created 3 funded awards for students with ideas for implementing any of the 17 SDGs in their community.

Project Submission Guidelines:

  4. During the initial judging, a minimum of eight (8) finalists will be shortlisted pan-India will be invited to Goa to present their ideas in person to an academic audience from all over India. Expenses towards travel and accommodation for the accompanying person (guardian/parent/teacher) are to be borne by the individual.

  6. The mentor will guide the students and ensure that successful implementation is met and a project report is filed within 6 months of the award.
